Roundtrip Vancouver
We chose this cruise because it’s a small ship. We enjoyed the Greek cruise on a more relaxed small ship a couple years ago. We hope to do something similar without having to fly to Europe. We especially like that we can get into ports we’ve never been to before. We’re looking forward to seeing bears in Wrangell, Russian heritage in Sitka, native culture in Icy Strait and Klawock, scenery, wildlife and glaciers everywhere.

Butchart Gardens is outside Victoria. We had high tea as part of the tour and then explored the gardens. That’s gardens, plural, as there are several different environments. Pictured is the Japanese garden, a calm change from the riot of color in the other gardens. We wandered through a sequioa forest that opened onto a brilliant sunken garden.
