Roundtrip Vancouver
We chose this cruise because it’s a small ship. We enjoyed the Greek cruise on a more relaxed small ship a couple years ago. We hope to do something similar without having to fly to Europe. We especially like that we can get into ports we’ve never been to before. We’re looking forward to seeing bears in Wrangell, Russian heritage in Sitka, native culture in Icy Strait and Klawock, scenery, wildlife and glaciers everywhere.

The last day on the ship. We watched thick forests glide by and suddenly we were in the port of Vancouver. The ship you see is about four times the size of ours. Beautiful city, but we’re heading home. We got home in the evening. LA is flat and treeless and full of lawyer billboards. Even so, it’s good to be home.
